Dr Mirjam Schilling
Dr Mirjam Schilling is a PhD virologist researching the arbovirus family, whilst currently doing a second doctorate in science and religion under Alister McGrath at Oxford University. She is a dual research fellow of Exeter College at Oxford University with a passion for exploring the impact of viruses on human and animal health. She has featured on ABC news to discuss the pandemic and its influence on climate science, as well as conducting science communication with young people on “what is a virus?"

Upcoming Speakers
Dr Andy Bannister is an expert in comparative religion. He gained his BA in theology at Durham before doing a PhD in Islamic Studies. He is now adjunct research fellow at the Arthur Jeffery Centre for the Study of Islam at Melbourne School of Theology and is also Adjunct Faculty at Wycliffe College, University of Toronto. He was a lecturer in philosophy of religion at LST for 4 years. He has written many books including Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God? and An Oral Formulaic Study of the Quran. He was very critical of New Atheism and has taken part in many public debates.
